When you read this book, don’t try to understand its contents by your mind, but apply its symbols and allegories to your heart, listen to your heart; and you’ll learn not only about the Paths of Evolution, but also about your own infinite possibilities of self-perfection.

This is a really great book. It went out of print in this edition. However is is back in print under a new name: 'Hearing God : Developing a Conversational Relationship With God.' This is an excellent book and well worth reading, again and again.

WOW! This is the Least Known of His Books but the Best

I read The Spirit of the Disciplines and The Divine Conspiracy years ago, but I did not know about this book until I read that it was part of a trilogy with these other books. It is my favorite of the three! What wonderful wisdom. A conversational relationship with God is so foundational to everything, and God still speaks to us today! This is a deep and lovely book. Do not miss reading it!

I am glad to hear this was re-released with the title, Hearing God (http://www.amazon.com/Hearing-God-Developing-Conversational-Relationship/dp/1596440546/ref=tmm_abk_title_0). The whole time I was reading this, I thought In Search of Guidance does not explain what the book is all about.

Wondrous.

As someone with an extremely fast reading speed, I usually race through novels and the like. Nayyirah Waheed's work stopped me. I devoured the first few poems, and then slowed. Then I stopped completely. I was sitting in my lawn, and I could feel my heartbeat thrumming through my veins as I read each poem slowly, savoring it. To be honest, I spent potential textbook money on this work, and regretted it the entire time I was waiting for the product to arrive. Then I held it and read it and fell in love with the words and this is probably the most worthy book I've purchased all semester. Planning to buy another copy for my favorite teacher later this year.

I received an ARC eBook in exchange for an honest review. continuing from part 1 where we get to know a little more about Jan, what he want, how he learns woos, foreplay and sex moves from porn. Even though she is indepentant and keeps trying to discuss why he is here, he seem to just know what to say and do to get what he wants. I could not put the book done just to see what happens next. Pick up this series and read along....you will not be sorry. I think you will see like me it's worth the read. Can't wait for the next to see what happens next....

Hitler's Second Outing as Author: Less Prolific as Mein Kampf, Far Less Legible. Avoid.

The bastard child of every high-school Spanish text you hated makes its appearance in college bookstores near you. No longer stocked by any online retailers even though it's only been on shelves for a year, this text will make you question the existence of a higher power. Clearly the work of a consortium of witches, the text sitting in front of me at this minute not only makes no effort to introduce useful vocabulary to the reader, but will send some students spinning when this book assumes knowledge of obscure Spanish phrases and terminology.This book is made out of the cheapest paper known to mankind, while the binding appears to be made out of snots. Is the book seven hundred pages long? Yes. Does it need to be when clearly every other aspect of the experience suffers for it? NO.

Why there aren't any used copies available:

As a comedy joke, this book also includes one-time access to a web portal for Spanish learning, which unfortunately is most likely a homework component of your Spanish course. Good luck breezing through dozens of basic knowledge questions online only to spend hours on end re-playing snippets of audio to answer questions, because each audio question seems to have a different voice actor with an annoyingly distinct and impenetrable accent. Of course, that's exactly what you want when learning a new language: to learn spanish from a catalan, and a rural peruvian, and a cuban, all speaking at breakneck pace. THANKS GUYS DIDN'T WANT TO LEARN SPANISH ANYWAY

tl;dr if this text is listed as a requirement for a course you plan on taking, consider learning French.

This is by far the MOST aweful textbook I have ever been forced to purchase. There are so many errors in this textbook that I can recall my professor pointing them out almost every class. Not only does it have errors, but the activities are so mind-numbingly stupid, that they were so useless. My professor more often then not, would pull activities from the textbook the retired the year before I took the class. The only component is as equally aweful as the in-text activities, just as many errors, and just as useless. Everything I did that used this book, was simply done because I had to for my grade, and not because his textbook was in anyway useful for studying. I would go so far as to say that this textbook is partially to blame for how aggravated spanish made me over the last year.

The absolute worst thing about this book, is how obviously greedy the publishers are. Not only did they clearly make no effort to properly edit the textbook before charging students through the nose for it, but they also make it impossible for students to the sell the book back. The online access code required for the course is inscribed on the inside of the book rather then attached, so that every student who ever has to use this book is forced to buy it brand new.
